Q: How do I know if you’re the right stylist for me?

A: The easiest way is to scroll through my portfolio and see if you’d be happy wearing multiple of the styles you see below. I work really well with brides who are okay trusting my creative process — if you love the overall feel of my work and are comfortable showing me inspo photos while letting me interpret them in my style, we’ll be a great fit. (I’m definitely a Type B kind of gal, so I tend to click best with Type B brides.)

If you’re someone who prefers sleek, polished, or highly structured styles, or if giving up some control over how the style turns out feels stressful, I might not be your girl — and that’s totally okay! But if you’re grounded in what the day is really about — the love, not the logistics — and you’re a go-with-the-flow kind of bride who just doesn’t want to stress about your hair, I’m 100% your gal.

Q: How would you describe your hairstyling style?

​A: My style is best described as boho, artsy, and effortlessly undone — think soft texture, natural movement, and that lived-in, slightly tousled feel. I love hair that looks like you, just elevated — relaxed yet refined, romantic without being overdone.

Q: Can I show you inspiration photos?

Absolutely!! Inspiration photos are a great starting point to help me understand your vibe. I use them as inspiration, not a blueprint — meaning we’ll take the feeling of what you love and create a version that works beautifully with your hair type, texture, features, and personal preferences.

Q: Do you offer clean, sleek, or highly structured styles?

A: I can create versions of those looks, but my signature work leans much more soft, textured, and undone. If you’re wanting a perfectly smooth bun or precise updo, you will probably be happier with a stylist who specializes in that aesthetic. I believe in matching you with someone whose work makes you feel completely confident — whether that’s me or someone else which is why I like to be super transparent in my style.

Q: Do you offer trials before booking?

A: I don’t offer trials prior to booking, simply because with my artsy approach to hairstyling, I work best with brides who already feel connected to my style and trust my creative process. Since I take on a limited number of weddings each year, I want our trial time to be about exploring what you love — not testing if I’m the right fit.

I completely understand wanting to try out stylists first, but I’ve found that my best work happens with brides who feel confident in what they see in my portfolio and are comfortable going into it with trust and a relaxed, go-with-the-flow mindset.

Q: Will my hair look exactly the same on my wedding day as it did at my trial?

A: Not exactly — and that’s part of the beauty of it. While I take detailed notes and photos during your trial, I approach every style I create as a form of art. Hair has its own movement and energy each day, so while it may not be an exact replica, it will have the same overall feel, shape, and key elements we loved from your trial along with any changes we may want to make.

If people ever ask what my favorite hairstyle to do is — it’s this one, and probably the updo I’m most known for. It’s soft, textured, and a little undone in all the right ways. I love that it looks effortless but still feels elevated — like you didn’t try too hard, but somehow it turned out perfect. This is the kind of updo that truly captures my style — effortless, undone, and a little artsy, with an organic feel.
